Arsene Wenger could be about to sign another Catalan teenager, if reports in the Barcelona press are correct. Mundo Deportivo claim that Arsenal’s Spanish scout, Francis Cagigao has identified 15 year old Ignasi Miquel, who currently plays for Cornellà, as the next Spanish starlet to follow in the footsteps of Cesc Fabregas and Fran Merida to the London club .
According to press reports, the player’s representative Joseba Diaz, Francis Cagigao and Arsene Wenger are currently holding talks at Arsenals London Colney training ground, with a view to a possible agreement with the youngster who will turn 16 in October.

Ronaldo stays: Capello has a use for Guti: Woodgate, Gravesen and Baptista could be off whilst Joaquin makes his way to Valencia.
It appears that Milan have decided not to pursue their interest in Ronaldo at Real Madrid after failing to agree a fee for the Brazilian after the Spanish club demanded 30 million euros for the player. Milan are reported to have focused upon Ricardo Oliveira of Real Betis as an alternative and hope to secure the player for around 15 million euros. Oliveira already has one foot out of the door in Seville after going ‘missing’ for the entire pre-season.
Meanwhile, Fabio Capello has attempted to silence the critics on Guti’s behalf, claiming that “If I can’t find a use for him then I’ll just have to make something up”.
Real Madrid fans have demonstrated just how patient they are prepared to be with the new manager after whistling the team off the pitch at the Bernabeu on Wednesday evening and many continue to demand “Where’s Kaka?”
