The Spanish FA's Competition Committee have imposed a two match stadium ban on Real Betis as punishment for the bottle-throwing incident which caused their home game against Athletic Bilbao to be abandoned last Saturday.

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti told a press conference this afternoon that Ricardo Oliveira from Real Betis is the only player that Milan will be signing before the transfer window closes tomorrow. In their fist season back in the primera liga, Celta Vigo pulled off one of the shocks of the season in finishing 6th. Fernando Vazquez deserves much of the credit for a very well organised and disciplined squad that turned the Balaidos into a fortress. Celta won 19 home games last season, a record only bettered by champions Barcelona.
