La Liga’s top two clubs Barcelona and Sevilla both face difficult second legs tonight in the quarter finals of Spain’s domestic cup competition.
Sevilla make the short journey to face their bitter rivals Real Betis following a goalless draw in the home leg a fortnight ago. Barca must overturn a 1-0 deficit when they visit Real Zaragoza at La Romareda.
Last season's cup runners-up Zaragoza became the first side to win at the Nou Camp in almost a year after Carlos Diogo gave them a 1-0 lead. Barca, who have not won the cup since 1998 are in confident mood after a convincing win against Athletic Bilbao on Sunday. However, the catalyst for that win, returning striker Samuel Eto’o has not made the squad for tonight’s cup tie. Officially, he needs a rest as he works his way back to full fitness.
